What Is Localized Cryotherapy?
While whole body cryotherapy is applied to the entire body, localized cryotherapy focuses on specific areas of your skin. It targets the cold temperature to small, painful, or inflamed areas for about 10 minutes per location.
What To Expect 

• It reduces blood flow to a particular area, which can significantly reduce inflammation and swelling that causes pain, especially around a muscle, joint or tendon.
• It can also temporarily reduce nerve activity, which can relieve pain.
